He wonders if the NCAA should always own a college players rights, even after they graduate?

• Rob Moseley pours over the numbers from the off-season conditioning program that come from the U of O strength coach, Jim Radcliffe. Here are some numbers that caught me eye.
The Ducks also measure players “at speed,” over 30 yards with a running start. Tops on the roster this year was senior receiver Jeff Maehl at 2.84 seconds, followed by cornerbacks Anthony Gildon and Scott Grady at 2.91 seconds. Gildon also posted a record-setting vertical jump of 38 inches this winter.
No wonder Maehl has that knack of finding the open spot.
