It's not just that the Ducks have Heisman Trophy finalist and unanimous All-American LaMichael James coming back, it's that they have Kenjon Barner and Lache Seastrunk to help carry the load. When you toss in touted incoming freshman De’Anthony Thomas -- play or redshirt? -- Oregon may have the best backfield in the nation.
• Addicted to Quack has a fantastic piece called "A Few Good Coaches" as Matt Daddy spoofs the entire recruiting mess at the expense of Lieutenant Canzano. Hillarious and a must read.
• Dale Newton continues to introduce the new recruits of 2011 and has a nice profile story on LB Carlyle Garrick.
On signing day, Chip Kelly said, "The more kids we can get, the Ifo's, the Colt Lyerla's, the kids...that can play multiple positions, the better off we're gonna be." Put Garrick in that category.
GO DUCKS!
