The Ducks received a No. 3 seed in the 75th edition of the National Invitational Tournament, which features 32 teams from around the country. Oregon will play No. 6 seed LSU (18-14) Tuesday at Matt Knight Arena with tipoff set for 6:30. The game will be televised on ESPN.
• Preston Hiefield and Patrick Malee report Ducks sophomore right-hander Brando Tessar tossed a complete-game shutout, striking out six while giving up just four hits in a 4-0 win over Connecticut at PK Park last night.

Well...I guess the NIT is okay, especially since Washington got thrown that loop as well. The baseball team rocks!
